India Poker Championship (IPC) is one of the oldest tournament brands in India and started when the only other tournament brand running regular tournaments was India Poker Series (IPS). Casino Royale in Goa played host to the inaugural India Poker Championship (IPC) in December 2010. Comprising of four events, the series ran from December 2 to 5. Three more editions of the series were held in Casino Royale, namely in February, April, and June of 2011.

After a four-year hiatus, the series returned in January 2015 and was held at the Deltin Royale Poker Room onboard the floating Casino Deltin Royale. Six more editions of the IPC were held in April, June, August, October and November 2015, with the last IPC series taking place from February 24 to 28, 2016.

Now, after another two-year hiatus, IPC has found a new home at Casino Big Daddy in Goa. The IPC made a blistering return to the live circuit with all four events at its comeback series registering record-breaking numbers. Pune’s Raj Talwar took down the ₹35K Main Event topping a never-seen-before 777-entries to win ₹49.25 Lakhs. Noida-based Pranay Chawla turned out to be the biggest winner at the series as he took down the ₹100K High Roller for ₹51.66 Lakhs.
