Straight up after The Indian Poker Series (TIPS) Winter Edition closed out another smashing edition at the King’s Casino in Rozvadov, the biggest and the most popular casino in Europe became host to the World Series of Poker International Circuit (WSOPIC) King’s Resort. The biggest buy-in event at the series – the €5,300 High Roller was taken down by Netherlands’ Zhong Chen (cover image) who won €66,500 ($74,692) at the event.

Zhen topped a 28-strong entry field to stake his claim on the prized WSOP circuit ring in what is Zhen`s biggest poker win till-date. “It’s not about whether the ring or the money is nicer; they’re both equally nice,” the Dutchman said after his win. Chen has been very active at events all around the globe, and it`s no surprise that he is ranked second in The Netherlands 2018 GPI Leaderboard, behind Tobias Peters.

The tournament allowed re-entries till the end of Level 8, and it was Viktor Walter who fired the maximum bullets, i.e., three. Walter’s third attempt saw him make it to the eight-handed final table, but only the top three finalists were to earn a payout, and Walter wasn’t one of them.

The final table was drawn after Michael Sklenicka busted in ninth place.

Chen started his final table journey placed third in chips with 400,000 in the bag while Anton Morgenstern (805,000) was the top stack, followed by Marek Blask (480,000).
