Final Table Recap

Taylor “Galactar” Paur claimed the first elimination of the final table in Brian “Penny6” Mancilla with the former`s pocket jacks dominating Mancilla’s pocket sixes.

Timothy “TruthBeTold7” Rutherford (8th place), Joseph “Obamacare” Hanrahan (7th place) and David “SobBaget” Liebman (6th place) all fell in quick succession.

Jason “JadedJason” James hit the virtual rail in fifth place before Paur showed John “SquatCobbler” Parker the hypothetical door in fourth place.

Just around the same time, India`s Abhinav Iyer was crossing the finish line in The Closer, Indian-origin player Satish “Jfksbh” Surapaneni was trying to attempt a similar feat in this event. Unfortunately for Surapaneni, his lost to Paur’s pocket deuces as the latter flopped a set to end Surapaneni`s dream run in third place.

Paur entered the heads-up play holding a massive chip lead against his final rival Francois “4everrekt” Evard and it took him less than an hour to get the job done.

On the final hand of the tournament, Evard moved all-in with and Paur who picked up pocket deuces again immediately called. It was a coinflip but the rundown favored Paur!
