The pace of the online action picked up considerably on Tuesday with many players having by now recovered from the fatigue of the epic comeback series of the India Poker Championship (IPC).

The biggest guarantee event on offer last night was Spartan Poker’s SSS #11 Mega Stack ₹18 Lakhs GTD, which is part of the 7-day long Spartan Super Series (SSS) underway since September 16. The event attracted 708 entries (324 unique, 135 re-entries and 249 rebuys), lodging a massive ₹21.24 Lakhs prize pool. Up-and-coming talent Vaibhav ‘Nikka Zaildar’ Sharma has been quite active on the live felts and very recently picked up a fifth-place finish at the 2019 WPT Vietnam VND 6.3 Million NLHE Bounty for ₹1.31 Lakhs. He championed the Mega Stack on Spartan Poker yesterday, pocketing first-place prize money worth ₹4.10 Lakhs.

While Spartan Poker’s flagship event pulled in the crowds, PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD registered a small overlay of around ₹50,000. Priyank ‘Piko1432’ Kothari came out on top to win ₹3.01 Lakhs. Meanwhile, Guneet ‘guntz’ Kwatra shipped the other big guarantee event on PokerBaazi last night, the Tuesday MonsterStack ₹3 Lakhs GTD, for a top prize worth ₹90,029.

After many weeks of trying, PokerStars India’s Tuesday extravaganza, the Sixth Sense ₹6 Lakhs GTD, finally eclipsed its guarantee with a prize pool collection of ₹6.55 Lakhs via 262 entries (139 unique and 123 re-entries). Pranav ‘dak0o’ Bang defeated Sreekanth ‘LaganaHiToHai’ Narayan (runner-up for ₹86,113) heads-up to win the ₹1.19 Lakhs first-place prize.

Adda52 hosted two high-value tournaments last night. The more prominent of the two, the Hitman ₹10 Lakhs GTD suffered a significant shortfall of ₹2.83 Lakhs, while the Hexagram ₹2 Lakhs GTD smashed it guarantee, collecting a prize pool worth ₹2.62 Lakhs. ‘ashmam’ defeated ‘deepesh2727’ (runner-up for ₹1.75 Lakhs) in the Hitman, netting a payout of ₹2.80 Lakhs. ‘deepesh2727’ more than made up for missing the title in the Hitman by topping the field in the Hexagram for ₹74,038.

On 9stacks, the StackUp @8PM ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD continued its daily run, and this time it was ‘Twilight’ who rose to the top to win ₹65,000. A 155-entry field (96 unique, 38 re-entries and 21 rebuys) resulted in an overlay of around ₹17,500 in the event.

The much-anticipated Dangal 100-Max Series kicked off on Poker Dangal yesterday. There are several events lined up daily till September 17 and the series that features a combined prize pool guarantee of ₹15 Lakhs is already gathering a lot of attention. All the four featured events on the opening day surpassed their guarantee`s, with the headliner, i.e., Event #3 – ₹100K GTD drawing a 133-strong field, collecting a prize pool of ₹1.33 Lakhs. Sam ‘Lokimon’ Anand has become a regular in our daily recap, and not surprisingly, he added another title to his name, this time for ₹26,600. Incidentally, Anand also final tabled Adda52’s Hitman last night, finishing ninth for ₹30,000.

Among the rest of the events, ‘Jaadupoker’ (₹50K GTD for ₹11,800), Gautam ‘kibolche’ Mankani (₹25K GTD for ₹7,000) and ‘killfish’ (₹10K GTD for ₹2,160) snagged titles. Looking at how these events fared in terms of prize pools collected, the ₹50K GTD managed to ride past its advertised guarantee and garner ₹59,000 in prize money, the ₹25K GTD collected ₹35,000 and the ₹10K GTD generated ₹10,800 in prize money. The tournaments scheduled to play out today on the site are the ₹35K GTD, ₹70K GTD and the ₹1.5 Lakh GTD.
