Electrifying action kept the excitement on the online felts going this past weekend.

Headlining the Sunday wins was ‘dilbaghsingh’ who topped the biggest weekly tournament on PokerBaazi i.e. the BSS SuperStack ₹25 Lakh GTD. He outlasted a 344-strong entry field and defeated Sameer ‘Killersam’ Tavanandi heads-up to bank a well-deserved ₹5.12 Lakhs in prize money.

The other big winner was Pranay ‘aankhdikhatahai’ Chawla who took down the Sunday Special-Progressive KO ₹15 Lakhs GTD on PokerStars India after striking a 3-way deal with ‘Sogani22’ and ‘realkidpoker92’. Chawla netted a hefty ₹3.24 Lakhs for his win.

Fast growing site MadOverPoker ran its headline tournament, Dynamite. With 91 entries in the field, it was Shubham ‘AK47_’ Madheshia who was the last player standing and won ₹47,190. Talking about his win, Madheshia said, “I really liked playing at MOP and after winning this I felt amazing. Looking forward to play more tourneys like this.”

Team PokerGuru Ambassadors set a trailblazing path to big online wins this weekend. For the second week in row, a member of PokerGuru Staking punched his ticket to the 2019 European Poker Tour (EPT) Sochi Main Event. Last week we saw Tathagatha Sengupta take down the EPT Sochi Qualifier on PokerStars India and this time it was Kartik ‘TheInternetKid’ Ved winning the package! Ved bested 54 entries and defeated Ukiie ‘Irrraiser’ Somaiya heads-up to win the ₹4 Lakhs package to the much-awaited stop.

Another Team PokerGuru Ambassador, Laksh ‘boomtlt23’ Singh had a profitable Sunday session. Singh final-tabled (6th for ₹83,952) the BSS SuperStack ₹25 Lakhs GTD and went on to win the BSS Megastack 5 Lakh GTD (₹1.07 Lakhs), pocketing a cumulative ₹1.90 Lakhs.

On PokerBaazi, the other popular Sunday events crowned winners in ‘Apocalypto’ (BSS PLO 5 Lakh GTD (RE) – ₹1.07 Lakhs), Anik ‘EagleSong’ Ajmera (The Monster 6-Max 5 Lakh GTD – ₹98,741) and ‘thumkhi’ (Sunday ₹1 Lakh GTD – ₹20,042)

The routine Sunday high-value events on PokerStars India were taken down by ‘vinaash’ (Sunday Stars for ₹45,297), Pranav dak0o Bang (The Classic for ₹34,392), animesh624(Sunday Storm for ₹31,072), babadookdook777(Sunday Warm-Up for ₹26,512) and 500 FOX (Ultrasonic for ₹25,665).

On MadOverPoker, Sanjay ‘zeus’ Kandampully (Grenade for ₹36,000) and Moses ‘fishingpro’ (Night Crawler – ₹12,506) took down the major events.

Another leading online poker site, Khelo365 hosted two high value tournaments this past Sunday. Top finishers in the Splash 50K GTD, which had a buy-in of ₹990, were ‘Samarth’, ‘Amaru’ and ‘Hkloma’. The Sunday Deep stack 30K GTD had a buy-in of ₹660 and ‘Punyasloka’ ‘Pankaj03’, ‘rknayan11’, ‘Khonajeet’ , along with ‘Mahendra1984’ were the top finishers.
