With the 50th annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) well past the mid-way mark, Team India is leaving no stone unturned in its quest for the elusive solo gold bracelet. With the largest-ever Indian contingent attending the series, it has been the best collective performance by the Indian squad at the series ever. Among the barrage of prominent Indian challengers featuring at the series, are two of our very own PokerGuru Ambassadors – Ashish Ahuja and Kartik Ved! The lawyer-turned-poker player who is on his debut trip to WSOP has already added seven cashes to his tally, totaling $103,328 (~₹71.57 Lakhs) in earnings. Ahuja’s latest score came in Event #53: $800 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack 8-Handed, where he finished 248th for $2,164 (~₹1.49 Lakhs).
