’Twas the night before Christmas and all the premier poker sites have already begun giving out the big presents to all the players who made it to the winners’ list.

With mere days left for the year to close out, PokerStars India rounded up things in style with the Winter Series. Boasting of ₹1.65 Crores in guarantees, the series crowned many champions, but headlining the list is the winner of the Winter Series #33 Main Event ₹35 Lakhs GTD Abhineet ‘pokemon13s’ Jain who decimated an extremely competitive field of 467 entries (293 unique and 174 re-entries) and added ₹6.23 Lakhs to his bankroll. Team PokerStars pro Aditya Agarwal made a strong bid for the title and pocketed ₹2.33 Lakhs for his fourth-place finish.

To sweeten the deal further, the site rewarded the top 3 finishers in the Main Event along with the closest 3 players to bust before the money bubble at the event with a ticket each to the ₹4 Lakhs GTD European Poker Tour (EPT) Sochi Main Event qualifier that was hosted at the site on December 24. The winners of this contest were, Abhineet pokermon13s Jain, Aditya Agarwal, Muneesh nirwair Tarsem, Akshay youcantcallme Nasa, Ankur InfinityAG1 Gupta and Sandeep Varma effuno007 RS.
