While Team India enjoyed a spectacular run at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Vietnam Main Event with PokerStars India Team pro Aditya Agarwal headlining the five Indian cashes in the event, the action on the virtual felts wasn’t lacking either.

In fact, two of Agarwal’s mentee delivered incredible performances last night. Rony ‘bisadip176’ Chowdhury has been a very consistent performer on the online felts over the past few months. He shipped The Endeavour ₹12 Lakhs GTD for ₹3.01 Lakhs in February and the Grinders#19 Thursday MonsterStack ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.20 Lakhs in March, earlier this year. He repeated his February feat yet again as he overcame 421 entries in yesterday’s The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD, banking a top prize worth ₹3.01 Lakhs. Chowdhury also final tabled the Tuesday MonsterStack ₹3 Lakhs GTD on PokerBaazi, finishing seventh for ₹16,241. Ram ‘mowgumotu’ Kakkar claimed the title, along with ₹97,566 in first-place prize money.

Laksh Pal ‘LuckyBhai$’ Singh, who is presently in Ho Chi Minh City, participating in the ongoing WPT Vietnam series, took down the Mega Stack ₹15 Lakhs GTD on Spartan Poker last night for a winner’s payday of ₹2.39 Lakhs.

‘Aarchit’ emerged as the winner in Adda52’s GO GOA event and walked away with ₹1.47 Lakhs for the win.

PokerStars India’s Sixth Sense ₹6 Lakhs GTD crowned a champion in ‘prawnpickle’ for ₹98,511, following a heads-up chop with Yash ‘hasyY@$#116’ Shrivastava who locked in ₹92,306 for his runner-up finish.

9stacks’ signature daily tournament, the StackUp @8 PM ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD, was won by ‘samir108’ for ₹65,000.
