Aces Unlimited Poker Conquest and the Aces Unlimited POY

The 4 Seasons of Poker Aces Unlimited Tournament Series will be kicking off with the Summer Edition from 18th-22nd May in Sol Poker Room, Pride Casino. The Poker Tournament Schedule features new and unique events catering to the full circle of Poker community Players, with a range of buy-ins from 5K to 25K:

18th May – 5K Freeze-Out + 1 Re-Entry (DeepStack Turbo)

Starting Stack: 10000 Chips   Starting Blinds: 25/50   Blind Levels: 7 Min.

1 Re-Entry is allowed only if the player is knocked out of the tournament, before the end of 9 Blind Levels.

19th May – 10K (7K+2K+1K) Bounty + Max Bounty

Starting Stack: 7500 Chips    Starting Blinds: 25/50   Blind Levels: 24 Min.

7K will be going to main Prize Pool. 2K will be given to each player who knocks out an opponent. 1K will go into a Prize Pool, which will be given to the Player who collects the maximum bounty. If there is a tie, the prize will be distributed accordingly.

20th May – 5K Rebuy + Addon

Starting Stack:3000 Chips   Rebuy Stack:3000 Chips   Addon Stack: 5000 Chips   Starting Blinds:25/50   Blind Levels:24 Min.

Rebuy period ends after 3 levels of play. Unlimited Rebuys can be taken during this period. Rebuys are permitted, only if you have starting stack or lesser or busted. Player has the option of buying a Double Rebuy, only if he loses all his/her chips.

Addon will be on offer for all players still in the tournament after the end of the Rebuy period.

21st May – 20K Freeze-Out (Main Event)

Starting Stack: 12500 Chips   Starting Blinds: 25/50   Blind Levels: 24 Min.

22nd May – 10K Shoot-Out

Starting Stack: 7500 Chips   Starting Blinds: 25/50    Blind Levels: 24 Min.


Aces Unlimited has also introduced a Player of the Year Contest, which will award the POY a cash prize of Rs. 100K! The POY contest starts May 2011 and ends in Feb 2012, over 4 events.

PokerStars deals hand 60 Billion and $1,000,000 Guaranteed Sunday Storm

The Shark and IPRT will be hosting their poker tournament series “India Poker Open” at Casino Carnival, Goafrom May 12th to May 15th. They have announced an exciting 4-day schedule:

Vivek Rajkumar’s back-to-back WPT Final tables

After his second place finish at the 2011 L.A. Poker Classic, Vivek Rajkumar had another chance at a second WPT title at the very next WPT tournament Bay 101 Shooting Star. This time Vivek finished in 4th place for $295,800 which brings his total career winnings to just over $4 million.
