‘Kingsingh69’ & ‘Fireexit’ Win ₹7 Lakhs Each on Day 4 of PokerBaazi’s PPL Special Edition; Gaurav Sood Atop Leaderboard For 3rd Consecutive Day

The PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) Special Edition hit the halfway mark on Wednesday, April 24 and crowned champions in five events. Headlining the list of winners was ‘Kingsingh69’ and ‘Fireexit’ (anonymity requested). The former took down the PPL#19: The Vegas ₹30 Lakhs GTD for ₹7,00,632, slightly edging past Rathnam who banked ₹7,00,253 for shipping the PPL#18: PLO HighRoller ₹25 Lakhs GTD.

The other three events were won by ‘Paul7788’ (PPL#17: 6-Max SuperStack ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.19 Lakhs), ‘AK10JQ’ (PPL#20: 4-Max Hyper Turbo ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹75,810) and Aditya ‘adit11’ Kulkarni (PPL#16: ₹3 Lakhs GTD for ₹74,550).

For a third consecutive day, Gaurav ‘gaug17’ Sood has held on to his pole position on the PPL Special Edition leaderboard with 3,715 points. Sood is comfortably ahead of Ankit ‘akj290’ Jajodia who is placed second on the leaderboard with 3,125 points.

With a buy-in of ₹11,000, the PPL#18: PLO HighRoller ₹25 Lakhs GTD mainly catered to the high-stakes players and drew in an impressive 317 entries (170 unique and 147 re-entries), collecting ₹31.70 Lakhs in prize money.

‘Fireexit’ (anonymity requested) overcame a highly competitive final table which comprised of known names like Sumit ‘boronyx’ Sapra (4th for ₹2.33 Lakhs), PPL#13: 6-Max DST ₹15 Lakhs GTD winner Nikhil ‘blastupinside’ Arora (6th for ₹1.40 Lakhs), Ankit ‘akj290’ Jajodia (7th for ₹1.40 Lakhs), Akash ‘UtgWithUrMOM’ Malik (8th for ₹93,515) and Sikander ‘advanced_basic’ Rajwade (9th for ₹70,057).

Rathnam met online regular ‘Maahi13’ in the final showdown and held his ground to claim the title, along with a whopping ₹7 Lakhs in first-place prize money. ‘Maahi13’ walked away with ₹4.91 Lakhs for their runner-up finish.

‘Kingsingh69’ narrowly edged out ‘Fireexit’ (PPL#18: PLO HighRoller ₹25 Lakhs GTD for ₹7,00,253) to become the biggest winner on the PokerBaazi platform last night, after clinching the title for a gigantic payday of ₹7,00,632. With established pros like Alok ‘shockmaster’ Ranjan (6th for ₹1.42 Lakhs), Raman ‘ifryu’ Gujral (7th for ₹1.17 Lakhs) and Rajesh ‘intervntion’ Shukla (9th for ₹70,221) in the mix, ‘Kingsingh69’ had a tough field to beat but the user eventually managed to capture the title, becoming ₹7 Lakhs richer in the process.

PokerGuru Team Ambassador Tathagata ‘Tintin84’ Sengupta bubbled the final table, finishing 10th for ₹51,679. Meanwhile, Nadeem ‘SpadeHunter’ Basha (17th for ₹35,899), Rony ‘bisadip176’ Chowdhury (34th for ₹21,697), Vivek ‘Nutpeddling729’ Singh (53rd for ₹15,780), Rohit ‘rohit22rm’ Mishra (75th for ₹9,862) and Laksh Pal ‘boomtlt23’ Singh (86th for ₹8,679), also posted deep runs in the event.

The final event on PPL’s Wednesday roster was the fast-paced PPL#20: 4-Max Hyper Turbo ₹2 Lakhs GTD which kicked off at 9:30 PM and was over by a little past midnight. Drawing in 361 entries (176 unique and 185 re-entries), the event comfortably eclipsed its guarantee, collecting ₹3.61 Lakhs in the prize pool.

‘AK10JQ’ emerged as the eventual champion after besting Aditya ‘macchi1089’ Chaudhary in the heads-up finale. While the former pocketed ₹75,810 for their win, Chaudhary took home ₹53,067 for finishing second.
