The Baha Mar Resort in the Bahamas will become the centre of massive poker activity come November this year when partypoker will kick-off the Caribbean Poker Party (CPP) from November 9 to 18, 2018.
Touted as one of partypoker’s premier tours, CPP will be held in the Bahamas for the very first time, with previous locations including the Dominican Republic.
Boasting of two $10 Million and $1 Million Guaranteed events, the CPP schedule consists of a total of 11 events with buy-in ranging from $275 to $250,000. With the addition of MILLIONS World to the tour, the record of partypoker’s largest-ever Super High Roller tournament has been overcome.
The satellites for CPP are running daily for $0.01, while offering players an opportunity to win an incredible package which includes nine nights bed and breakfast for two people at the Baha Mar, $1,000 resort credit, $2,000 cash towards travel expenses and $5,300 Main Event buy-in.
partypoker ambassador and high-stakes pro Sam Trickett seems very excited for the upcoming series and said, “After skipping the World Series this year, I can’t wait to travel to The Bahamas for the Caribbean Poker Party. With the Main Event’s guarantee doubling to $10 million and the schedule including the new $25K MILLIONS World, there will be so many opportunities to play high stakes against the top players in the world. This combined with the top-class location I have a feeling it will be the best yet, and I’ve been to all three! Bring it on!”
Another partypoker ambassador Joao Simao seems equally excited. “I can’t wait to head to The Bahamas this November. The Caribbean Poker Party is one of the events I look forward to the most and this year the location has got even better. It’s a great event to bring the family to and enjoy spending time together off the felt. There is also an exciting tournament schedule, ensuring you’re getting the best of both worlds. With a more varied schedule than ever before, including the addition of a PLO tournament and so many ways to qualify on partypoker this is an event not to miss!,” he said.
