Attending the world’s richest sporting event – the World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas is on the bucket list of every serious poker player, so when MadOverPoker (MOP) came up with it`s Viva Las Vegas promotion offering Las Vegas packages as the primary giveaways, it created quite the flutter!

One of the primary attractions of the promotion – the 15-tournament long Vegas Series is well underway at the site since April 15. Action has been intense these past three days at the series, and one name that has been hogging the spotlight is Rajesh ‘sankibuddha’ Shukla – and for good reason! With five final table finishes including three titles, Shukla all but decimated the competition in the first two days of the series to take on a commanding lead in the race to win the Las Vegas package. His early lead has not made him complacent as he was back at work once again yesterday where he added another two final table finishes to his tally including a title – his fourth at the series! Shukla has planted himself firmly at the top of the Vegas Series Leaderboard with 1,957 points, and there seems to be no stopping him at the moment.

Retaining his second rank on the Leaderboard after Day 3 of the series is Sachin ‘HellHole’ Raj with 1,266 points – courtesy his two final table finishes yesterday. Raj finished seventh in the ₹40K GTD (₹2,887) and quickly followed that up with an eighth-place finish in the ₹1 Lakh GTD (RE) (₹3,500).

The other star performer on Wednesday was Amarjeet ‘ninjakar’ Singh who was flying under the radar the first two days with just one deep run – his fifth-place finish in the ₹1.25K GTD (RE) (₹8,750). Singh took down the ₹385 buy-in ₹40K GTD yesterday after defeating Ryan ‘BinkSSS’ Cardoso heads-up. Singh is a regular at MOP and someone who has been in the limelight in the past. He was named India’s first Bounty Champion in December 2018 when he scored 67 bounties in MOP’s Indian Bounty Championship (IBC). Singh currently sits with 940 Leaderboard points, good for fifth place on the Vegas Series Leaderboard, but given his past performances we can’t rule him out of contention yet!

In addition to Shukla and Singh, ‘silentkiller’ (₹50K GTD PLO (RE) for ₹12,217). kingslayer’ (₹1 Lakh GTD (RE) for ₹19,019) were the other two winners on Day 3.

The Vegas Series enters its fourth and final day today with three high-value events on the platter. Headlining the day’s action will be the ₹1,600 buy-in Main Event that gets going at 8.30 PM. Here are the event-wise results from Day 3 of the Vegas Series.
