Kolkata just had another poker great evening, with the Bounty Mania Tournament hosted by the Turn N’ Riva poker room. Mayank Agarwal (cover image) emerged the winner, after a heads up deal with runner-up Saurav Jain.
The tournament comes close on the heels of the debut Kolkata Poker Championship and gave players an exciting ₹10K buy-in bounty event that allowed 1 re-entry per player.
The event drew 30 unique entries and 8 re-entries, leading to a prize pool of ₹250,000 and bounties worth ₹95K.
At the final table, the top five players agreed to cut ₹2K from their pay packets, allowing for a sixth cash of ₹10K for the bubble boy.
Heads up saw another deal with Mayank taking INR 80K and Saurav getting ₹81K and a flip at the end to decide who got the title. Mayank won with against Saurav’s on a board that read , taking home the title.
