High stakes cash game pro and a coach at the Run it Once (RIO) training site, Kevin Rabichow (cover image), has become the first Run it Once Poker Team Pro.
It was in February last year that the RIO poker platform launched its public beta version, and it has been running since without any ambassador with the poker room founder Phil Galfond acting as the public face for the site.
Galfond has been working overtime to increase traffic on the site, and the most ambitious of these efforts is the Galfond Challenge! However, this is the first time that the online poker upstart has added an ambassador to its roster.
Run It Once Poker verified the news on their twitter handle.
The cards are in the air! Today, @Stapes and newly signed Run It Once Poker pro @KRabichow are steering the ship. #GalfondChallenge https://t.co/vkbITKkINH

The news first became public during the live stream of the Phil Galfond Challenge. During the Twitch broadcast on February 3, regular commentator Joe Stapleton was joined by Kevin Rabichow in the virtual commentary booth, where it was revealed that Rabichow would be RIO’s first sponsored pro.

Rabichow will be the second non-anonymous player after Galfond to play on RIO Poker. He, like Galfond, will play with his own custom avatar, unlike regular players on the site, who have anonymous, random names and avatars each time they start a new online poker session.
