On the heels of a rather lackluster Monday, Tuesday showed a much better turnout on most sites. The tournament crowd flocked towards Spartan Poker, resulting in the site’s Mega Stack ₹17 Lakhs GTD registering the most massive turnout among all the majors that took place last night. The event logged in 689 entries (325 unique, 154 re-entries and 210 rebuys), improving upon the previous week’s 651 entries to generate a guarantee-smashing ₹20.67 Lakhs prize pool. ‘pot-pan’ emerged the winner to walk away with the title and a hefty ₹3.98 Lakhs payday. ‘beginer’ (Ultimate PLO ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹50,400) was the other big winner on the site on Tuesday.

While the MegaStack brought all the tournament players to Spartan Poker, PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD found a fair share of that crowd as well. With 512 hopefuls (262 unique and 250 re-entries) joining the action, The Endeavour successfully overshadowed the 452-entry field that it registered last week. Topping this massive field was none other than the talented PokerGuru Ambassador Jayjit ‘england’ Ray! The Young Gun has been in blistering form lately. Headlining his numerous deep runs these last few days are two runner-up finishes – both of them in flagship tournaments. The first of the two came in PokerBaazi’s The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD on October 22, followed by another runner-up finish in Spartan Poker’s The Elite ₹25 Lakhs GTD on November 1. Always the bridesmaid never the bride – he finally broke the jinx when he defeated an unknown player ‘comeon’ in The Endeavour last night to win ₹3.48 Lakhs.

Another player worthy of praise is Yudhishthir Singh ‘Rowdy6’ Rathore. A tournament regular, Rathore bagged the Tuesday MonsterStack title on PokerBaazi for a second consecutive week. He had won this event last week for ₹88,537. This week, the event was a part of the ongoing Grinders series, Grinders #9 Tuesday MonsterStack ₹3 Lakhs GTD, and saw Rathore taking home a meatier ₹1.13 Lakhs payday.

Adda52’s flagship Tuesday tournament, Hitman ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD, just about managed to dodge an overlay by generating a prize pool of ₹7.52 Lakhs through 235 entries. Well-known player Manish ‘newkidpoker’ Lakhotia came out on top after defeating Deepak ‘Peacelover’ Singh heads-up to win ₹2.06 Lakhs.

Moving on to PokerStars India, the rush of players seems to have disappeared with the Diwali Rush series. Both its Tuesday signature events, Sixth Sense ₹8 Lakhs GTD and Deepstack ₹2 Lakhs GTD, fell flat last night. The Sixth Sense crowned a champion in ‘KNOCKMEOUT999’ who took home ₹1.26 Lakhs in first-place prize money, following a heads-up chop with MTT specialist Sagar ‘sagarpupull’ Choudhury (runner-up for ₹1.27 Lakhs). ‘Mr.Darell’ championed the Deepstack for ₹40,679.

On 9stacks, StackUp@ 8PM ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD kept the momentum going, pulling in 173 entries (95 unique, 33 re-entries and 45 rebuys) that helped collect ₹2.59 Lakhs in prize money. Outlasting the competition, Dhaval ‘Mr.Performer’ Bagaria captured the title and the top prize of ₹67,470.

Over at Poker Dangal, the Battlefield Tuesday ₹1.5 Lakhs GTD crowned a champion in ‘riskypro,’ who collected ₹31,500 for his efforts.
