Just a day to go before the country’s first low-to-mid stakes live poker series makes a comeback. Yes, you guessed it right! The Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) Xpress is returning for its fourth edition. For the very first time, the series will be hosted onboard the luxurious Casino Deltin Royale in Goa from February 27 to March 1.

Touted to be “India’s Most Buzzing Poker Tournament,” the DPT Xpress is haloed ground for budding poker players who are yet to make their live poker debuts. With the buy-in for the entire series set at just ₹40,000 (not taking re-entries), the series provides newcomers an ideal opportunity to test their poker skills in the live arena.

Talking about the upcoming series, Manish Adnani, the Business Head of Poker at Deltin Royale, said, “I look forward to making the DPT X event a memorable experience for all the players who have made their way out to come and play. We are all set to and look forward to rolling out a successful event.”

According to the tournament organizers, several positive changes to the TDS policy for Live Events at the Deltin Royale will be introduced this year. These include a 100% TDS rebate on adda52.com. The management informs us that this new policy will take effect from April 1, 2020, offering players a lot more value. The details for the same will be announced in the April event`s handbook.

Inaugurated in 2018, the first-ever DPT Xpress was hosted at the picturesque Casino Deltin Denzong in Gangtok, Sikkim. Being the first-of-its-kind series, the inaugural edition was rather well-received, with Bhola Sharma championing over a 67-entry field in the ₹15K Main Event and banking a winner’s payday of ₹3.40 Lakhs.

While the schedule of the series has remained the same for the most part, the only change has come in the form of the ₹10K Tag Team being replaced by the ₹10K DeepStack Turbo (FO).

The much-awaited ₹15K Main Event will run from February 29 to March 1, and the defending champion Purohit has already confirmed his attendance in the event.

The fourth edition of the DPT Xpress already looks to be a promising affair, and the PokerGuru live reporting crew will be present at ground zero to give you all the exciting updates as it unfolds. So, stay tuned!
