The first Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) Xpress stop of the year hit the floor running at the Casino Deltin Royale on Thursday. Catering mostly to the recreational and low stakes players, the live event didn`t affect the online action much!

Spartan Poker’s signature Thursday tourney, the Ultron ₹20 Lakhs GTD, attracted 520 entries (242 unique, 107 re-entries, and 171 rebuys), making for a ₹20.80 Lakhs prize pool. PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish ‘Spewushiiiii’ Ahuja breezed his way to the top. He defeated ‘Seiborg09’ (runner-up for ₹2.57 Lakhs) heads-up to claim the ₹4.05 Lakhs winner’s paycheque. His fellow Team Ambassador Vivek ‘KasolHieghts’ Singh (3rd for ₹1.93 Lakhs) was another online reg who ran deep in the event.

The Double Feature flagship on Spartan Poker last night was the Big Bounty ₹6 Lakhs GTD and here too, Ahuja ran well. He eventually placed 11th to earn ₹11,400. The event logged in 265 entries (151 unique, 43 re-entries and 72 rebuys), and it was Young Gun Arsh ‘BigggTymeR’ Grover who ultimately walked away with the top prize of ₹1.32 Lakhs. Grover who plays as ‘Button_Hai_Bro’ on PokerBaazi also posted a fourth-place finish in PokerBaazi’s The Summit ₹15 Lakhs GTD, securing another ₹1.97 Lakhs payout.
