After a busy weekend, Mondays are usually slow in terms of turnouts. Come Tuesday, and the action starts picking up, and that’s precisely what we saw yesterday across the various domestic poker platforms.

Headlining an eventful Tuesday was Spartan Poker’s Mega Stack that guaranteed a juicy ₹20 Lakhs in prize money – a good ₹3 Lakhs more over last week. This is one of the most successful weekly events on the site, and the Mega Stack`s latest run was no different. With 705 entries (333 unique, 147 re-entries, and 225 rebuys), the event accrued a whopping ₹21.15 Lakhs prize pool. Racing ahead of the competition was the anonymous player ‘Hit ‘Em Up’ who beat ‘chitti3.0’ heads-up to win ₹4.08 Lakhs. The other Tuesday major, Daily Hi-Fi ₹6 Lakhs GTD, didn’t fare so well, and in fact, had an overlay of ₹52,000. Taking the title home was ‘MansaMusa,’ and the player added a hefty ₹1.19 Lakhs to his bankroll.

PokerGuru Ambassadors were in top form yesterday, and two of them, Shashank ‘indianrat’ Desai and Ashish ‘rocky3705’ Ahuja, were seen gunning for the title with gusto on PokerBaazi. Desai squared off with seasoned online reg Akash ‘nikita69QQ’ Shekhar heads-up in The Endeavour ₹15 Lakhs GTD. In the end, Shekhar denied Desai the title to come out on top of the 402-player field (212 unique and 202 re-entries) to win ₹3.01 Lakhs. Desai finished runner-up for ₹2.11 Lakhs. The event logged in a more massive overlay than its prior week’s run, falling almost ₹93,000 short of the advertised guarantee.

In the PokerBaazi MonsterStack ₹3 Lakhs GTD, it was a heads-up clash between PokerGuru Ambassador Ashish Ahuja and Nishant ‘nishant177’ Sharma. The duo sailed past the field of 200 entries (124 unique and 76 re-entries) before their showdown. Sharma, who holds the distinction of being the only Indian with a top 50 finish in the WSOP Main Event, has had a profitable year. Last month he had final-tabled both the BPT ₹20K PLO and the WPT India ₹55K Main Event. Defeating a formidable Ahuja in the Tuesday MonsterStack, Sharma added ₹96,600 to his bankroll. As for Ahuja, a runner-up finish fetched him ₹67,720.

Another talented pro from the PokerGuru team, Tathagata ‘RadioActivity’ Sengupta, enjoyed a blistering run on PokerStars India last night. The Kolkata-native outlasted a field of 262 entries (129 unique and 133 re-entries) in the Deepstack Sixth Sense ₹8 Lakhs GTD to win ₹1.28 Lakh after striking a heads-up deal with Vikram ‘GreenSTUFF79’ Mishra. Mishra pocketed ₹1.22 Lakhs for placing second. Meanwhile, ‘bossbaby97’ championed the Deepstack ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹42,981.

The Tuesday events on Adda52 ran full house yesterday with the Hitman ₹7.5 Lakhs GTD collecting a ₹8.12 Lakhs prize pool over 254 entries (137 unique and 117 re-entries). Besting the field was the 2018 WPT India 20K Megastack Turbo champion Siddarth badtameez_donk’ Singhvi. Along with the winner’s payout of ₹2.11 Lakhs, Singhvi also scored five bounties.

Moving on to the Hexagram ₹2.5 Lakhs GTD, we saw a healthy prize pool of ₹2.67 Lakhs being generated. Prasad ‘Goodmanji’ Patil was the last player standing in the field and walked away with ₹65,260 in prize money.

On 9stacks, Satyam ‘noobAf’ Gupta won the daily StackUp event for ₹65,000.
