The second starting flight played out on July 11 and saw 101 entries joining the action. Only 49 players advanced further including India`s Sumit Sapra (108,700 – 91 big blinds).

While we don’t know much about Shukla, his Hendon Mob profile shows only one recorded live score and that too dating back to 2015. Shukla had finished runner-up in the IPC ₹15.5K NLHE Freezeout for ₹2.85 Lakhs in June 2015.
Three more events – NLHE #2, High Rollers Single Day #3 and WeLoveSport Deep Stack Turbo are on the tap for the day.
VND 6 Billion (~₹1.77 Crores) GTD Championships Event – Day 1B Recap
Day 1B of the VND 38,500,000 (~₹1.13 Lakhs) buy-in tournament registered 101 entries, expanding the field to 161 entries. The event needs at least 10 more entries to avoid an overlay on the VND 6 Billion (~₹1.77 Crores) guarantee, and with registrations open for the first level of play, there is very high likelihood that the event will surpass the advertised guarantee.
Seasoned pro Sumit Sapra was the only Indian player advancing on Day 1B, and he bagged close to 91 big blinds (108,700) for Day 2.
Topping the Day 1B survivors was Japan’s Hiroshi Nishiyama (249,800 – 208 big blinds) with Vietnam’s Cao Ngoc Anh (243,900 – 203 big blinds) and New Zealand’s Oliver Helm (219,000 – 183 big blinds) ending the day with the next top stacks.
Christopher Mateo (58,700), Linh Tran (47,500), and Punnat Punsri (142,500) were the other notables who made it through to Day 2.
