The luxurious Paradise City poker room in Incheon, South Korea is currently playing host to the Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) Korea 2018 and the 10-day long series is now inching towards its conclusion as the highlight KRW1.8M Main Event is already past the two opening flights.

The Main Event smashed all records with the tournament recording a massive field of 449 entries (182 entries on Day 1A and 267 entries on Day 1B) making this the biggest poker tournament field in the country’s history. The top 52 places will share a piece of the KRW705,558,600 prize pool (~$659,000) with the winner set to walk away with a mammoth KRW158,700,000 (~₹96.57 Lakhs) top prize and the coveted PSPC Platinum Pass worth $30,000.

Notably, a second Platinum Pass was awarded via a three round flipout and guess who the lucky winner was? Well India`s globe trotting Sumit Sapra grabbed the Platinum Pass and with that he is assured of one more trip next year – this time to the Bahamas to play one of the largest tournaments i.e. PSPC.
