It`s been a great year for online poker players and even with the year-end around the corner, there is a lot more to look forward to. With the PokerBaazi Premier League (PPL) Winter Edition (Dec 10 -16) and MadOverPoker’s Indian Bounty Championship (Dec 7-9) lined up ahead, poker enthusiasts can look forward to closing the year in style.

India`s poker superstar Aditya ‘serendipity789’ Sushant has been a force to reckon with both online and live. Starting off his poker career as a PokerGuru Young Gun in 2010 to becoming the first Indian player to win the WSOP bracelet, this Chennai-lad has come a long way but he is far from done. Just last month, Sushant added another missing title in an otherwise illustrious career graph – his first-ever World Poker Tour (WPT) India title that he won at the series opener ₹20K Kickoff NLHE for ₹9.35 Lakhs and this month again we have him headlining the online action. Sushant took down the latest Sunday Special – Progressive KO ₹15 Lakhs GTD for a bankroll boosting ₹3.15 Lakhs, even as he is running deep in the Championships Event at the 2018 APT Finale in Philippines.

The up-and-coming Joey inisme Saha has been performing unswervingly on the online felts and in early November, he successfully trailblazed through the Diwali Rush ₹30 Lakhs GTD Main Event on PokerStars India for a whopping ₹6.21 Lakhs. This PokerStars India regular was once again in the winner’s circle this past Sunday as he took down the Sunday Stars ₹2 Lakhs GTD, winning ₹47,248 in the process.

Across the other regular Sunday tournaments hosted on PokerStars India, sheldon11cooper championed the Sunday Storm ₹2 Lakhs GTD for ₹38,988, The Classic NLHE was won by ‘GutshotHaiBro’ for ₹28,441, while the lone female winner this past Sunday was Swetha ‘phunsukhwangdu’ Sharma, who took down Sunday Warm event for ₹28,080. Annkur ‘Flopzila’ Agarwal topped the Sunday Supersonic for 17,195.

Headlining the Sunday lineup of high-value tournaments on India’s most trusted poker site, PokerBaazi, was the star attraction, i.e. the Baazi Super Sunday (BSS) SuperStack ₹15 Lakhs GTD. The event registered 354 entries (198 unique and 156 re-entries) culminating in a prize pool of ₹17,70 Lakhs. The fight for the title eventually came down to the heads-up finale between Arun ‘freaky123’ Arora and PokerBaazi Team pro Abhishek ‘AbhishekRathod’ Rathod and it was Arora who finally prevailed and won the event for ₹3 Lakhs. Meanwhile, ‘ABdevilliers’ placed first in The Monster 6-Max ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.26 Lakhs. Akshay sherlock52 Nasa continued his consistent performance by taking down the BSS PLO ₹5 Lakhs GTD for ₹1.20 Lakhs. Laksh Pal boomtilt23 Singh found himself battling well-known online regulars and he eventually triumphed to win the BSS MegaStack ₹5 Lakh GTD for ₹1.13 Lakhs. The 6-Max MegaStack Turbo ₹1 Lakh GTD was shipped by Shubham Shabbaking Singla for ₹39,750.

9stacks’ mainstay event, the Sunday Stacks crowned a winner in Vikas ‘deepthought’ Singh who bagged an impressive ₹2.55 Lakhs in prize money. Abhisek ‘iPhone’ Swami won the last Nations Cup Qualifier on PokerRaj for ₹38,000.

Over to MadOverPoker, ‘Aditya’ clinched the top prize of ₹37,781 in Dynamite, ‘pranaygowda’ captured the Grenade for ₹36,000, while ‘UnderWood’ won the NightCrawler for ₹17,500.
