After an eventful debut in December last year, the Baadshah Gaming Live Tournament Series is back for its second edition once again at the Baadshah Gaming Live Poker Room onboard the floating Casino Pride in Goa.

The five-day series features as many events and awarded its first title on Friday. Chennai`s Aditya Sushant (cover image) emerged atop a field of 139 entries to claim the ₹3.89 Lakhs top prize in the opening 10K Warm-Up event.

One of India`s most accomplished pros; Aditya Sushant holds the distinction of being the first Indian poker player to win a WSOP gold bracelet. He won the $1,000 Tag Team Event at WSOP 2017 last year for $150,637. His long list of results include numerous online cashes including a career-best $168,157 he won for chopping the PokerStars Sunday Million way back in June 2013.

Sushant, who had finished ninth in this very event last edition was among the top stacks for most of final day with Baadshah Gaming Team Pro Rajnish Kumar stealing the spotlight initially. Sushant entered the final table with a commanding chip lead and eliminated four players on the final table to win the title rather convincingly in the end.

The 139-entry strong field dwindled down to just 37 players on Thursday with Baadshah Gaming Team pro Rajnish Kumar bagging the overnight chip lead with 150,300 in chips. Sushant though a distant 99,700 in chips, had almost 25 BB`s when play resumed on Friday.

As the prize money was to be divided among the top 15 finishers, the first order of business on Friday was to reach the money. A number of known faces fell short in this pursuit including Zarvan Tumboli, Myron Pereira, Ratul Steves, Chirag Sodha and Rajeev Raut among others.

Picking up the money bubble tag was Saumil Krishnan who got his chips in good with but got unlucky when Raushan Kumar Singh`s rivered a straight on the board that sent him packing on the stone cold money bubble at 16th place.

Other known faces who made it in the money include Harsh Dembla (10th for ₹34,750), Vivek Singh (12th for ₹16,680), & Siddarth Singhvi (15th for ₹16,680).
