Varma called and the button got out of the way. The board ran giving Kaanan the top pair and bringing Varma down to the bottom with 500,000. Shortly after, Varma went all-in with in the big blind after Nicholas Wong raised pre-flop with . The board did not help Varma sending him out of the tournament.

Varma was earlier involved in another duel with Rattonsey, and was responsible for the latter’s exit at sixth place. Both, Varma from the button and Rattonsey from the blinds, called a pre-flop raise of 55,000 by Nick Wong. The flop saw the action passed to the button from where Varma raised 125,000. Rattonsey check-shoved with around 400,000 with . Wong folded, Varma called showing flush and open-ender outs with .
