Here are this week`s top stories

The temperatures seemed hotter than ever, with excitement for the 48th World Series of Poker (WSOP) that starts in Las Vegas today. Led by the sole Team PokerStars Pro of India Aditya Agarwal, this year will see largest-ever turnout at the festival from the country.

Leading up to the WSOP is the 2017 Super High Roller Bowl, which is currently underway at the ARIA Resort & Casino Las Vegas. Now playing its final day, the event drew an elite list of 56 top pros, which is now down to the money bubble at the end of day 3. All the survivors are vying for a piece of the $16,800,000 prize pool, which will be shared among the top seven finishers.

Online action was headlined by Anil ‘BigBlufferAY’ Yadav, who claims our “PokerGuru Star of the Week” title for making five impressive finishes pocketing $16,446.42 in cashes.

Online action saw two exciting series kicking off the past week with adda52’s DOPT series and Khelo365’s Win2Double Mini Millions debuting to keep domestic tournament players busy.
