Sunday Online Railbird Report: Aditya Sushant Ships Adda52 Millions, Chiraag Patel Wins BSS ₹15 Lakhs Event on PokerBaazi & More

Like ever Sunday, domestic as well as international online poker sites saw huge turnouts that made for another eventful weekend grind. This past Sunday’s biggest events were the Adda52 Millions – ₹20 Lakhs GTD and PokerBaazi’s Baazi Super Stack (BSS) – ₹15 Lakhs GTD.

Headlining the action were India’s first World Series of Poker (WSOP) gold bracelet winner Aditya ‘A_Sushant’ Sushant, who took down the Adda52 Millions for ₹7.50 Lakhs and Chiraag ‘Versutus’ Patel, who shipped the BSS Super Stack for ₹3 Lakhs.

The other big winners were ‘Sur2016’, who took down Adda52 Sunday Suits for ₹2.6 Lakhs and ‘drex7’, whowon the BSS ₹5 Lakhs GTD event for ₹1.13 Lakhs. ‘Pro_Pro’ took down the BSS ₹1 Lakh GTD PLO event for ₹43,680 and Aman ‘KarmaPoker’ Parakh collected the ₹31,000 top prize money in the BSS ₹1 Lakh GTD FreezeOut event.

In other events, Amresh ‘Termi’ Kumar won the 9stacks ‘Sunday Stacks’ event for ₹42,000.

It wasn’t the best Sunday for Indians at the world’s largest poker site PokerStars. The only notable score came from Raghav ‘Rossoneri23’ Bansal, who managed a deep run in PokerStars ‘$215 Sunday Supersonic [6-Max, Hyper-Turbo], $150K GTD’, finishing 35th for $1,135.13 (~₹73,798).

 

Adda52 Millions

The biggest Sunday event on India’s largest online poker site, Adda52 Millions – 6max, saw a total of 230 entries that collected a gigantic ₹23 Lakhs prize pool to be shared among the 18 finishers.

With three Young Guns – Aditya Sushant, Danish Shaikh and Sahil Chutani all in the running for the top spot, it was a star-studded final table by all standards. Once the last card was dealt, it was the WSOP bracelet winning poker superstar Aditya ‘A_Sushant’ Sushant, who battled his way through the tough field to emerge victorious. Sushant defeated “Jinx” in the heads-up match and collected ₹7.50 Lakhs. “Jinx” took home ₹3.68 Lakhs for his second place finish.

Baazi Super Sunday (15 Lakhs GTD) (SuperStack) – PokerBaazi

Chiraag ‘Versutus’ Patel won the best value tournament this past Sunday i.e. Baazi Super Stack (BSS) on PokerBaazi for ₹3 Lakhs defeating Mumbai-based Pro and our latest Young Gun Abhinav ‘griezmann’ Iyer heads-up. The event had a total of 276 entries and paid the top 27 places.

It was ‘drex7’ who won the event for ₹1.13 Lakhs and Aamir ‘AamirAces’ Ahmed finished second for ₹84,087.

PokerStars Sunday Million

The biggest online tournament of the week, the PokerStars Sunday Million $1 Million GTD fetched a total of 6,406 entries that once again smashed the $1 Million GTD prize pool with the total prize money reaching a staggering $1,281,200.

The tournament went on for just over 14 hours and it was the Brazilian ‘FLBonatto’ who took home the prestigious Sunday Million title along with a massive pay cheque of$172,955.07. He defeated Lithuania`s ‘BalticMoose’ in the heads up battle. The Lithuanian received $121,370 for his runner-up finish.

Among our Indian challengers, Siddharth ‘Sidddhu’ Mundada made the deepest run, taking 307th place for $574.73 (~₹37,429).
