Team PokerStars pro Aditya Agarwal and Team PokerHigh pro Arsh Grover participated in the High Roller, but were unable to make the money line.

Both players having busted the previous flight, re-entered on the last entry-flight Day 1D. Agarwal has made Day 2 with 107,200 chips placing him 13th among the 74 survivors on that day. Leading the record-breaking Main Event Day 1D was Adrian Mateos with 185,200.

£2,200 High Roller

Local player Joe “Magic” Johnson took down the High Roller for £59,912 and what’s more, he rode in after winning the satellite at PokerStars LIVE at The Hippodrome Casino Loyalty Race, which awarded him £4,000 in buy-ins.

The event drew 178 entries and witnessed a tough heads up, which was finally resolved after deal was cut, with the trophy and £3,000 left for the winner.

Day 3 began with five survivors and heads up saw Johnson with a 2 to 1 lead up against Enzo Del Piero.

Piero put up a fight, doubling up many times and when stacks were almost equal a deal was struck. The last hand saw Piero’s ace-nine felled by Johnson’s ace-jack and he made a runner-up finish for £56,678.
