The stage is set as Casino Royale (Goa) prepares to play host to the country`s 1st International Poker Tournament – The Asian Poker Tour Asian Series. The APT is scheduled to debut in India on Nov 8th and will continue until Nov 14th featuring 7 side events with the ₹50K Main Event and the ₹250K High rollers event.

The High Rollers event is a recent addition to the APT Goa schedule which after the success of the ₹100K WGF Poker Tournament seems to be a logical inclusion in an otherwise well rounded series. APT seems to be looking at India as a regular stop in its Asian series and has already announced the next APT Goa series from May 23rd – May 29th, 2012.

Complete Schedule:

The series already got a lot of attention with many tournament regulars expected to come down for the event along with the possibility of appearances from a few international players too. Some of the celebrities who may make an appearance at APT Goa are Vivek Rajkumar, Nam Le, Mel Judah and David “Chino” Rheem. Team PokerGuru led by mentor Aditya “Intervention” Agarwal will be present at the APT to add a few titles to the team`s kitty. Follow their progress and live updates on www.pokerguru.in.
