It promises to be a stupendous end to the Diwali festival, as Kolkata gears up for two rocking poker tournaments – the HiFi Poker Tour Anniversary Bash and the Rounders Poker Championship, both starting later this week with almost ₹4 Million in collective prizes up for grabs.

If Bengaluru was fast emerging as a poker hub in the country, Kolkata does not seem far behind, with its recent spate of poker rooms opening up all across the city, run on a professional basis and attractive tournaments to draw in serious players.

The two new tournaments are further proof of the coming of age of poker-entrepreneurship with collaborations between some of the top names already in the business of poker, adding further credibility to the growth and professional status of the sport in Kolkata.

Promising a rich and fulfilling time in terms of playing-experience, challenges, excellent service and attractive payouts, the two tournaments will be running in tandem and have attracted numerous regulars and passionate not just from the city, but from all over the country.

PokerGuru has already stationed a team in Kolkata and will be reporting live from ground zero at both the tournaments, so make sure to keep your browsers locked this way for all the exciting updates.
