Day 2 of the APT Asian Series Goa saw 52 players climbing onboard the floating Casino Royale for a shot at the APT Head hunter title. With an ₹2,000 bounty on each elimination, action was fast and furious but it was the Kolkata based Anil Adiani (cover image), who was the last man standing when the dust had finally settled.

Team Pro – Sangeeth ‘Samoh’ Mohan continued to impress with back-to-back final tables at the APT. He finished runners-up to Team Mentor Aditya ‘Intervention’ Agarwal in Event 1 and though short stacked for most of the event, Samoh managed a top 3 finish yet again adding some valuable points to his APT Player of the Year tally.

Early eliminations saw Team Pro Aditya ‘Mastermind’ Agarwal get unlucky with against Aditya Sushant’s . Sushant completed his broadway straight on the board of to deliver a massive blow to Masterminds stack, one from which he could not recover. Team Pro Kunal Chandra too made a deep run but was eliminated on final table bubble in 11th position by Kishore M.

Team Pro Pulkit Kalia ended his dry run in tournaments with a in-the-money 9th place finish and got a wee bit unlucky with against Aditya Sushant’s . A King on the board ended Pulkit’s hopes of a maiden APT title. Nitish and Philip Sanders hit the rails soon afterwards in 8th and 7th place respectively.

In one hand, we saw him trap Team Pro Sangeeth ‘Samoh’ Mohan with on a board of . Preflop action had Siddharth Singhvi raise 4500 from early position, Team Pro – Sangeeth ‘Samoh’ Mohan in late position re-raised to 11,800, action folded around to Siddharth and he just called.
