Racing past all opponents, Korea’s In Chul Sin triumphed at the Asian Poker Tour (APT) Philippines III Main Event taking home $67,660 (~₹45 Lakhs) and the trophy. Indian-origin player Rajesh Jiandoni final tabled the event at seventh place for $10,010.
Kunal Patni cashed twice, first placing ninth in Event 13 – $550 Monster Stack for $1,630 and then made a 10th place finish in Event 17 – $330 Super Deep Stack Turbo for $1,120.
Linh Tran emerged the winner at Event 13 – $550 Monster Stack for $13,610, while Event 15 – $550 No Limit Hold’em was won by Japan’s Jun Funabashi for $8,620 and Event 17 – $330 Super Deep Stack Turbo was taken down by Sam Razavi for $7,130.
The series wraps up today with Day 2 of Event 16 – $2,200 High Rollers, Event 18 – $220 6 Handed Turbo w/Antes and Event 19 – $110 Deep Stack Hyper Turbo.
The last two final days of the Main Event saw furious action, as players scrambled to make the money. 39 survivors began on Day 3 and Iori Yogo was the first to cash at 27th place.
Indian-origin Dhanesh Chainani made a 17th place finish for $3,250, while Japan-based Rajesh Jiandoni final tabled to exit at seventh place for $10,010.
Eventual winner Sin began to flex his muscles when the table was six-handed, eliminating Tristan Yumul at sixth place with his against the latter’s . Shin kept collecting pots and by heads up had a 2.5:1 chip advantage against Jin Yog’s 1 million.
The final hand saw both players allin on the flop , with Yong holding and Sin with . The turn and river gave Sin the winning flush and the title. Yong collected $38,970 for his runner-up finish.

Canadian pro Linh Tran took down the Monster Stack event for $13,610. The event attracted 110 entries and had a prize pool of $53,350.
Day 2 began with 19 survivors, which included Kunal Patni, who final tabled the event, finishing ninth for $1,630.
He updated his final hand on Facebook, “Busted 9th. 44 < 99. Thanks for the support guys”
Heads up found Tran against Japan’s Motoki Jinno, with both players moving all-in on a flop .

The $550 No Limit Hold’em event drew 45 entries, leading to a prize pool of $21,820 and once again Iori Yogo was the first to cash at fifth place.
Heads up between Japan`s Jun Funabashi and USA’s Ron Manning lasted just one hand, with both players all in pre-flop. Manning had and Funabashi held . The board gave out declaring Funabashi the victor.
