The APT Asian Poker Series Cambodia 2015 is now on its last three days, with seven more events to go. Day 2 of the Main event is over and Australia`s Daniel Tan is leading the 16 surviving players. The two participating Indians – Dhaval Mudgal and Rajat Sharma, both hit the rails before the money bubble on Day 2.
Simultaneously, Event 9 – No Limit Hold`em 2 and Event 10 – Welovesport.com Deep Stack Turbo both, played down to a winner.
Day 2 of the APT Cambodia Main Event began with the remaining 58 players taking to the felts, and by the end of play only 16 survived. Australia`s Daniel Tan emerged as the chip leader and bagged 343,000 chips.
Dhaval Mudgal who bubbled Event 8, could only manage a 19th place finish in the event. Mudgal tweeted the updates constantly:
Rajat Sharma was eliminated earlier in 37th place and messaged us his bustout hand, “Busted AK to KK in 37th position“.
Herbert Baum of Germany took his second title at the series. He first won Event 7 – $440 NLH 2 for $4,890. Now Baum has followed that up by taking down the title in Event 9, collecting $2,130 for the win. The event saw the top three players make the money, out of the modest 12 entries who signed up for a shot at the title.
Event 10 – Welovesport.com Deep Stack Turbo
The $165 buy-in Event 10 drew 38 entries. Tetsuya Tsuchikawa of Japan was crowned the champion and took home $2,210 in prize money. The top 5 finishers made it in the money.
Today, Day 3 of the Main Event will commence at 1pm local time. Event 11 – $660 Monster Stack and Event 12 – $165 Deep Stack Turbo 2 will also roll out at 3 pm and 6 pm respectively today.
